About Gladio
We first wrote our software for bars and restaurants.
Today it is made for airlines, rail operators, ferry and cruise lines and hotels as well. Someone loading a trolley needs to know what people will order and when, and so does anyone behind a bar on a Saturday night.
Our story
At the bar
We wanted ordering to be easier for guests and for the staff who serve them.
We soon saw that the same software would work on board. A seat on a train or a plane is a lot like a table in a bar.
In the data
After a while we were spending more time on the order data than on the ordering.
Our software stored every order with its time and place. That record turned out to be worth more than the ordering itself, and that is why we founded Gladio.
